The Aspen Music Festival and School hold more than 400 classical music programs during its annual summer season from the end of June to the end of August. The recital schedule features several starry Aspen debuts including saxophonist Jess Gillam (July 16), violinist Melissa White performing Vivaldis Four Seasons (Aug. 11), along with many returning Aspen regulars including Baroque specialist Nicholas McGegan (July 14), bassist Edgar Meyer (July 30), and guitarist Sharon Isbin (Aug. 6) who will be performing Indian music with sarod player Amjad Ali Khan, Robert McDuffie (Aug. 17) and the Russian pianist Vladmir Feltsman (Aug. 20). Details on mobile concerts and live streams are not yet available. The festival is expected to post its full summer program on its website Wednesday. The tent is manufactured out of teflon-coated fiberglassthe same material as the Denver International Airport.
